sister : OMG. ARE THOSE LIKE ALL YOURS, SERIOUSLY?!!
ME : OH YEAH.
sister : no, seriously. OMG. they are, aren’t they?!! i can’t believe you.
and she continued the “i can’t believe you” a couple more times – all the way to the car.
i figure i outdid myself again.
despite presenting my case that my bag weighed the lightest, none of the three who went with me were buying it.
besides my check in, i had two handcarrys and another bag.
one of them took a photo of my bare shoulder that looked like it had been whipped; which was really the consequence of carrying one of my bags and captioned it “the price you paid”.
the same person asked me – “so how? are you happy with your harvest? or do you feel like your heart is breaking because of the $$ you spent?”
ME : “oh well. it’s a bittersweet feeling, you know?”
and friend number 3 said : “sweet more than the bitter!”
since it’s been paid for WE SHOULD ENJOY THE HARVEST.
if JESUS paid the price for freedom, we are FREE.
if JESUS paid the price for sickness, we should be HEALTHY.
if JESUS paid the price for poverty, we should be DEBT FREE.
JESUS paid the price in full, so that we can enjoy the harvest.
HE did this all, for you and me.
and oh yes, after a four-day beautiful hiatus – i’m back :)
